EN - I wish to leave with a short departure notice

This article concerns you if you wish to leave your apartment when giving notice less than 30 days in advance.

Your contract stipulates that you must give us a minimum notice period of 30 days. You therefore have to register your departure date at least 30 days before you leave the apartment, whatever the circumstances.

It is possible to register your departure date with a shorter notice period. However, this will entail fees, which will be retained from your potential rent reimbursement:

Length of my notice period Cost
30 days or more before my departure Free
29 to 20 days before my departure Refund of rent overpayment, minus 179€
19 to 10 days before my departure Refund of rent overpayment, minus 379€
9 days or fewer before my departure Refund of rent overpayment, minus 579€

If you have already paid your rent, a refund for the days of rent during which you will no longer be living in the apartment will be made.

In order to confirm your departure date and stop your rent payment beyond this day, you can use one of the following links:

  • In the your user account on Chez Nestor website
  • In the email you received from our team on 28th October 2020
  • In any of the emails you receive each month reminding you to pay your rent.

Warning: A subjective feeling of fear, even if it is justified in these strange times, is not sufficient reason to be able to break out of your contract with immediate effect without paying any fees. If you leave your accommodation without giving notice and without completing an inventory with our team, the bailiff fees to complete the inventory (180€ to 380€) and the locksmith fees (50€ to 500€) will be charged to you, in addition to your late-notice fees of 579€.
